One cut, two ways! The first picture is after cutting this lovely client’s hair dry, to let their natural texture inform the cut. Some clients prefer just a dry cut, and you can see why - the natural waves are happy and carefree! In this case, we were feeling a little extra, and completed the service with a relaxing wash and blowout - seen in the second picture. One haircut, multiple looks, and a happy client. All is well 💚

A little about me:

I have been doing hair for over 10 years, and specialize in haircuts, curly and wavy hair, realistic maintenance and styling, and eco-friendly products and practices.

In my personal life, I love cuddling with my cat (Salem), tending to my amateur garden, reading fiction, writing poetry, pole, and thrifting.

My philosophy is all about working with clients’ natural beauty, reducing the daily stress many people feel about hair’s appearance, and making maintenance and care easy and accessible. I love helping people see just what amazing things their hair is already doing, as long as it is cut and cared for according to its particular needs! It’s almost always easier than you think 😉

Before and after of my favorite kind of cut! This client had six months of healthy grow out, and it was time for a tune up - keeping angles and “shelves” at bay, and spot treating any damaged areas. The result: full, cascading, healthy curls! This haircut can be done dry (30 min, typically) or with a wash and diffuse (1hr - 1.5hrs, typically).
